PHOTOGRAPHY

In 2012, after being away from a camera for over twenty years, I took up serious photography again. I was visiting the family village, in Punjab, India, and started out simply by walking, and looking, taking photographs in my mind for weeks before I actually snapped a shutter. I’ve returned to Punjab almost every year since, each time taking photographs. That year was also my first visit to Greece, and I began a project documenting how Athens felt to me as an outsider in the midst of the financial crisis, which then had already been going on for five long years.
I’ve included a few examples from some of the projects I’ve been working on these past six years below. Feel free to be in touch if you want to learn more.
